Join social.plus!

social.plus is on a mission to help brands and creators own their communities instead of renting them on third-party social platforms. As engagement on traditional social media declines and algorithms become more unpredictable, social.plus empowers enterprises to build curated digital communities directly within their own apps, driving higher engagement, retention, and lifetime value.

For consumer apps, engagement is everything. social.plus is designed to help brands keep users inside their ecosystem rather than losing them to external platforms. By embedding community features within an app, brands can foster deeper interactions, increase user retention, and unlock new monetization opportunities.

Your impact:

As a Product Manager at social.plus, you will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap and performance of our product and you will work with Product Leadership on how to transform vision into key initiatives such that it delivers value.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Help define the strategy and direction for the product area you are working on, and clearly communicate how it creates value for customers and supports the company strategy.
  • Identify, investigate, and frame customer and business problems, using customer insights, research, data, and product context to determine which problems are worth solving and why.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to understand customer needs, uncover opportunities, shape product direction, and bring products and features from opportunity through to launch and iteration.
  • Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand how our products are being used, uncover unmet needs, validate problems, and turn insights into actionable product opportunities.
  • Translate well-framed product problems and opportunities into clear product requirements, working with Design and Engineering to define the appropriate approach, scope, and trade-offs
  • Build and prioritize the product backlog based on customer needs, business impact, strategic priorities, technical considerations, and other relevant factors.
  • Continuously incorporate customer feedback, market insights, product data, and learnings from shipped products to refine the roadmap and improve the product.
  • Clearly communicate product decisions and the rationale behind them, including relevant tradeoffs and constraints, to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Anticipate dependencies, risks, and potential roadblocks, and proactively work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
  • Understand the commercial context of the product, including customer needs, adoption, retention, revenue opportunities, and other factors that contribute to business impact.
  • Monitor relevant market and competitive developments to identify changes in customer expectations and potential opportunities for the product.
  • Take ownership of initiatives through to execution, ensuring product goals are translated into outcomes and progress remains aligned with the overall company strategy.
  • Contribute to an inspiring and inclusive product management culture.

Your ideal profile:

Our product management team is growing, and we are looking for someone who enjoys figuring out what problems are worth solving and turning ambiguous customer needs into valuable product opportunities.

You are an effective communicator who combines strong problem-solving and analytical skills with customer empathy, commercial awareness, and good product judgment. You are comfortable working in ambiguity, collaborating with different disciplines, and taking ownership from problem discovery through to execution.

  • Strong problem-solving and product thinking: Able to take ambiguous problems, structure them, identify the underlying customer need, and determine what is worth solving.
  • Good product judgment: Able to make thoughtful tradeoffs between customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, effort, and strategic priorities, and clearly explain the rationale behind decisions.
  • Customer-oriented: Comfortable engaging with customers and stakeholders, asking thoughtful questions, and turning qualitative feedback into actionable product insights.
  • Commercially aware: Understands how product decisions can influence customer adoption, retention, revenue, and broader business outcomes.
  • Data-informed: Comfortable analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns, diagnose problems, evaluate opportunities, and measure product outcomes.
  • Strong communicator: Able to clearly explain product thinking, decisions, tradeoffs, and technical concepts to people with different levels of technical understanding. Fluency in English is a must.
  • Collaborative: Works effectively with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing, and is comfortable incorporating different perspectives into product decisions.
  • Execution-oriented: Able to manage multiple priorities, anticipate dependencies and risks, and drive initiatives through to launch while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity: Thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment where problems are not always clearly defined, and can bring structure without needing every answer upfront.
  • Technical curiosity: Comfortable understanding and discussing technical concepts, constraints, and tradeoffs with engineering colleagues without needing to be a technical specialist.
  • Strong written & verbal communication: Able to communicate and write clear, well-structured problem statements, product requirements, and other product documentation.
  • Proactive and accountable: Takes ownership of problems and follows through on commitments, while knowing when to seek input and when to make a decision.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, consulting, business analysis, or a related role, ideally with experience taking products or features through multiple stages of the product lifecycle.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience building or managing B2B, B2B2C, SaaS, developer, or API-based products, particularly products that are embedded into other digital experiences.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers and balancing the needs of individual customers with broader product and business priorities.
  • Experience with consumer-facing or social products, such as communities, social networks, messaging, content, engagement, or creator products.
  • Familiarity with product analytics and experimentation, including defining metrics, analyzing product usage, and evaluating the impact of product changes.
  • Experience conducting customer discovery or user research, including interviews, usability testing, or other qualitative research methods.
  • Experience working closely with Design and Engineering from early problem framing through to delivery, rather than primarily working from predefined requirements.
  • Experience working with APIs, SDKs, integrations, or developer-facing products, and an interest in understanding how technical products are built and used.
  • Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment, where priorities evolve quickly and teams need to operate with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
  • Familiarity with product-led growth, engagement, monetization, or retention concepts.

What’s in it for you:

  • Shape a product used by global brands: Work on a B2B2C product that helps leading brands build engaging social and community experiences for their customers.
  • Real ownership and influence: Have a meaningful role in shaping product direction, from identifying the problems worth solving to deciding what we build and why.
